How Copyium Works with WordPress

WordPress is the publishing destination for millions of content teams, and the Copyium integration eliminates the friction between content creation and publication. Instead of writing in Copyium, then copying content into WordPress, formatting it, adding meta data, and assigning categories manually, the integration handles the entire handoff automatically.

When a piece of content is marked as ready for publication in Copyium, the integration pushes the formatted article to WordPress with all metadata intact. The title becomes the WordPress title, the SEO-optimized meta description populates the Yoast or Rank Math fields, and categories map to your WordPress taxonomy. Writers and editors never need to switch between platforms.

Content Refresh Workflow

The integration also supports content refresh workflows. Copyium can pull your existing WordPress content library for analysis, identifying articles that have lost rankings or need updating. After refreshing the content in Copyium’s editor with updated information and improved optimization, the updated version pushes back to WordPress, replacing the existing post while preserving the original URL and publication date.

Draft and Review Sync

For teams with editorial review processes, the integration supports draft synchronization. Content created in Copyium can be pushed to WordPress as a draft, allowing editors who prefer the WordPress interface to review and approve content before publication. Changes made in either platform sync bidirectionally during the draft phase.

Bulk Publishing

Content teams producing at scale can use the bulk publish feature to send multiple articles to WordPress simultaneously. This is particularly useful for content refresh campaigns where ten or more articles are updated and ready for republication at once.
